Information on MegaDepos
What is MegaDepos?
MegaDepos is the next generation of court reporting, a new site and service from MegaLaw.com, the Legal World Wide Web.
MegaDepos offers attorneys and law firms a listing of high quality, reliable deposition reporters. Whether across the street or across the country, MegaDepos can help find a trustworthy reporting service. Unlike any other listing service, MegaDepos provides detailed information about the court reporters. Do they work with your software? Do they have conference rooms? Do they have secured e-mail? What about condensed transcripts? You can find this information out on MegaDepos, and often only on MegaDepos.
MegaDepos offers quality. At MegaDepos, we ask for and check references from every new court reporter before listing them on the site. As a result, you can trust that the reporters listed here are at the top of their field.
MegaDepos is a complete network. You can find reporters covering over 100 major cities nationwide, and the list is growing. So you won't waste your time looking for a court reporter using MegaDepos.
MegaDepos is accurate. On MegaDepos you won't find a court reporter from Mississippi claiming to regularly cover depositions in San Francisco. When you see a court reporter listed for a city, they know the area and have experience in it.
MegaDepos is convenient. You can usually find a qualified court reporter through MegaDepos in three clicks (and schedule a deposition in four). And MegaDepos keeps track of your profile so you won't have to fill in your personal information every time you want to schedule a deposition. Or e-mail us (we're always glad to help).
How it works
Finding a reporter / scheduling a deposition -- An attorney or other legal professional visits MegaDepos, either through http://www.megadepos.com or http://www.megalaw.com. The front page is also the beginning of your search. Either click on a state, or type in a city and pick a state from the search box. If you select a state, you will see a list of major cities in that state. Click on the one you want. Don't see the one you want? Type it into the "Other" box - often MegaDepos reporters service cities that are not listed among the "majors." A list of quality court reporters appears. Select any one to see a wealth of information about it and help you choose which reporting firm you would like to use. Then, click on the button to schedule a deposition or e-mail the firm to request scheduling or other information. It's that easy.
Profiles -- MegaDepos can hold onto your information for you to speed up the process even more. Fill in the attorney name, firm name, address, phone number, and e-mail address … once and only once. We will give you a password to protect your security. From then on, whenever you want to schedule a deposition, simply enter the e-mail address and password, and we will incorporate your profile in deposition scheduling requests.
Is This Really Free to Use for Attorneys and Legal Professionals?
Yes! MegaDepos court reporter searching is free. Of course, you will still need to work out payment with the court reporters for the service they provide, but there is absolutely no additional charge for finding court reporters or scheduling depositions through this site.
